Vauxhall Insignia 'a good family car leasing option'
18 March 2011
Families considering which vehicle to obtain for a car leasing deal may be interested to hear that the Vauxhall Insignia has won a top prize.
Car buying guide Parker's has named the 2.0 CDTi 160 ecoFLEX Exclusiv model of the vehicle as its family car of the year.
Awarded as part of the publication's New Car Awards, the prize is handed out based on a variety of factors which would make it appealing to a family by using its 'cost of motoring' tool.
These include assessing the true price of servicing the vehicle, in addition to the fuel consumption and its depreciation value.
Kieren Puffet, editor of Parker's said: "What really impresses is that it proves delivering on a big, spacious estate doesn't have to mean expensive bills."
Another big winner at the awards was the Kia C'eed, which was named as the overall best car of the year at the ceremony.
