Will car leasing customers be taken by the Mazda CX-5?
19 April 2011
The latest compact crossover SUV to be launched by Mazda will be called the CX-5, the automaker has revealed.
After making its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the model has now been named and will appear at the New York International Auto Show later this week.
Various features will be included in the car, such as new-generation engines, transmissions and updated chassis engineering - all of which could appeal to those seeking car leasing deals.
The automaker stressed that the CX-5 boasts the KODO - Soul of Motion design theme, which was first unveiled last year via the SHINARI concept car.
Last month, Mazda celebrated winning an accolade for its two-seater sports car the MX-5 after it was named the Best Convertible in the Carbuyer Awards.
The judges praised its design, commenting that "cars that are this much fun rarely make so much sense" and highlighting that the MX-5 is available in soft-top, hard-top and automatic versions.
