Renault release new Clio details

News Home >> Car Leasing >> Renault release new Clio details

A Renault car leasing scheme offers motorists the chance to get behind the wheel of some impressive technology and striking designs.

Contract is often mooted as a great way for businesses and families to loosen a tight budget, as it can work out much cheaper than purchasing vehicles out right and ensures that payments are set months in advance, so there are no nasty surprises.

However, one lesser known advantage of car leasing is the way it easily allows drivers to change their cars and thus use ones which are more suitable or desirable.

One such car could be the new Renault Clio which is debuting at the Paris Motor Show ahead of its launch next year.

The car company is rightly proud of how impressive the model looks on the road.

Senior vice president of corporate design at the group Laurens van den Acker said: "[The] new Renault Clio was conceived as a piece of sensuous sculpture which stimulates desire. Like muscles, its curves express the dynamism radiated by the DeZir concept car. No acute or aggressive angles, just voluptuous curves that make you want to go up to it and caress it."

Technology fans will be pleased with the amount of innovations that are on offer in the Clio.

A seven-inch touchscreen, which can also respond to voice commands, is combined with TomTom navigation and access to Renault's own Application Store in the R-Link option.

In addition, it will be the first car from the French manufacturer to feature a three cylinder engine, which helps lower the carbon dioxide emissions.

A Renault car leasing scheme also offers other models which are currently available and have low CO2 figures.

The Twingo Hatchback 1.2 Extreme three-door version is available from £152.29 per month and despite a zippy performance, produces 130 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometre or the Megane Diesel Hatchback 1.5 dCi 90 Expression+ which does not comprise its green credentials with its spacious interior. The five-doorer has a CO2 rating of 104 g/km and is available from £178.82 per month.
