New businesses 'could benefit from car leasing'
01 October 2010
People who are just starting out in business on their own, or those who run small companies, may find that car leasing is a good option as opposed to purchasing a new vehicle.
This is the opinion of The Cars blog, which commented that there are a number of ways in which car leasing can benefit a small firm.
It pointed out that leasing a car can result in cost savings, as you will be able to drive a newer vehicle and make lower monthly payments than if you bought it.
Car leasing customers will also be less likely to have to pay out for maintenance bills or suffer breakdowns, it added.
The post also explained that being able to drive a top of the range model rather than a car you can afford will help to build "a superb image for the company".
Leicestershire County Council has turned to car leasing to provide a Jaguar for its chairman to use when attending civic events, the BBC reported.
Deputy leader of the council Nick Rushton told the news provider that the council had opted for a diesel rather than a petrol model, which would result in £11,000 of savings on fuel costs.
