Mercedes Sprinter wins another title

One of the advantages to contract hire is the ease at which drivers and companies find it to adapt to changes in the motoring sector.
Those who own their own cars and vans could have problems raising cash to accumulate enough finance to get the latest must-have model or take advantage of essential fuel-saving technology.
However, a car or van leasing scheme makes such transitions very smooth, with problems such as depreciation are totally avoided.
One such example of one of the most desirable products in the industry is the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
Its recent win in the Fleet Van of the Year category at the annual Motor Transport Awards confirmed a place in the history books for the manufacturer as it captured its seventh title in the ten years since the inception of the prize giving ceremony.
This year's awards took place last week at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London and were decided by the readers of Motor Transport.
Car leasing customers can now find out for themselves if they agree with the prevailing opinion of the Sprinter.
It was the adaptability of the van which was seen to be its main selling point, with readers praising it for ticking so many boxes.
A good fuel economy is always a major boon for a hard–working fleet van and that too was singled out in the Sprinter.
Steve Bridge, van sales & marketing director at Mercedes-Benz UK, said: "This is an outstanding achievement to add to an already long list of award wins for the ever-ready Sprinter.
"The fact that the final judging for the awards was decided by a panel of readers, who are using these vehicles day-in, day-out, is a testament to the genuine affection there is for this tough workhorse."
This follows the two top awards that the model took at the VansA2Z Van of the Year celebration in March.
It seems a Mercedes van leasing scheme could be the perfect way to take advantage of award-winning vehicles.
