Chevrolet Aveo receives five-star NCAP rating
09 February 2012
Drivers who are concerned about road safety may be interested in the Chevrolet Aveo.
The car has been awarded the maximum five-star rating from the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) and received the honour of Best in Class for the supermini category.
Euro NCAP judges were impressed with the safety it offered adult and child occupants, awarding it a score of 95 and 87 respectively.
Mark Terry, managing director of the manufacturer's UK operations, said the Aveo is symbolic of a company-wide approach to car design.
"Our whole model line-up provides impeccable safety credentials with the majority achieving a five star rating; it brings great peace of mind to our customers," he added.
Car leasing could allow motorists the opportunity to drive an Aveo without having to pay the expensive upfront prices associated with owning a vehicle.
The US manufacturer has a long history of car design; it celebrated its 100th anniversary last year.
