BMW releases details of the new M6
14 February 2012
Firms that need their employees not only to arrive on time, but also to arrive in style may want to think about the new BMW M6 Coupe and convertible.
The mammoth V8 M TwinPower Turbo engine produces an impressive 560 horsepower and is capable of shifting the cars from a standing start to over 60mph in 4.2 seconds.
Despite this, the German engineers have managed to lower its fuel consumption compared with previous versions and cut carbon dioxide emissions by 30 per cent.
Many feel the M6 represents the ultimate driving experience and the Coupe will cost £93,795 when it becomes available later this year, with the convertible being just over £5,000 extra.
Car leasing could be an effective way of incorporating these cars into a fleet, as it will allow businesses to save on the high upfront costs.
Those looking for something more environmentally friendly could hire the BMW ActiveHybrid 5, a car that combines driving pleasure, a combustion engine and an electric motor.
